Section 239

Rights of debenture-holders to obtain copies of financial statements.—(1) The holders of debentures, including the trustees for holders of debentures, of a company shall be entitled to have copies of financial statements of the company and other reports on payment of such fee as may be fixed by the company.

(2) Any contravention or default in complying with requirements of this section shall be an offence liable to a penalty of level 1 on the standard scale.
